Note: Surprised Grandpa didn't write about this. He had a business selling jewelry and we had a huge walk-in safe in the basement. I learned years later that there was a "rumor" about having that safe in our basement. It's true. We did. All I remember is that it had shelves and that's where Grandpa stored his paperwork.
I don't know much about the company, but Grandma had a carat center diamond with two quarter carats on each side of it, along with a wedding band with matching quarter carat diamonds. Susan ended up with the larger diamond. The smaller ones were used when Grandpa remarried.
